Welcome to Casa Horatio, we're happy to have you here! We'd like to introduce ourselves. We're Brian and Lauren - a husband and wife team - focused on providing expertly crafted housewares and accessories for everyday use. Our collections are inspired by our travels and our cultural heritage, made by talented artisans, and imported from around the world. We really pride ourselves on finding unique, one-of-a-kind items that you won't readily find in stores here in the United States.
Dedication to Handmade & Small Batch Products
What makes us different than any other home goods store? For starters, everything we sell is made in small batches. You won't find mass produced housewares or accessories here!
Buying handmade and small-batch housewares offers numerous advantages over mass-produced items. Firstly, each handmade piece carries the mark of the artisan's craftsmanship, showcasing unique and individual character. These items often possess superior quality, as they are carefully crafted with attention to detail and passion. By supporting small-batch production, you contribute to local economies and foster sustainable practices, promoting ethical production methods, and reducing environmental impact. Moreover, purchasing handmade housewares enables you to own one-of-a-kind items that add a personal touch and a sense of authenticity to your casa, creating a truly special and welcoming living space.
Since everything is handmade and/or hand-finished, no two items we sell are identical.
Minority-Owned
As a minority-owned business, both female and Jewish-owned, our cultural heritage serves as a profound influence on the products we offer, infusing them with a unique blend of traditions, values, and rich historical perspectives. We aim to bring unique perspectives, experiences, and a commitment to inclusiveness in serving our customers and contributing to a more equitable business landscape.
Our Values
At the heart of Casa Horatio are the values that our business was built around. Our brand’s core values include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Supporting female and minority artisans
- Offering a selection of small-batch, handmade and/or hand-finished products not available on websites like Amazon or at large, high-end department stores
- Maintaining a low carbon footprint by recycling and/or reusing packaging when possible, utilizing biodegradable shipping and promotional materials, and not selling products made with plastics or other synthetic materials that are harmful to the environment
- Giving back to the community
- Providing joy and love in all that we do

Curated Collections & Ever-Changing Inventory
One of our founders (we won't name names), has a penchant for buying difficult to pack and fragile souvenirs on our travels. From flower vases, to tea cups, sangria pitchers, and more, we've dragged fragile items thousands of miles around the world to use in our own casa. With Casa Horatio, we're doing the hard work for you. Leave it to us to curate unique collections of products and ensure that they are securely packaged for shipping direct to you.
We love buying unique, handmade souvenirs when we travel abroad for everyday use in our own casa and hope that you find joy in our curated collections too. Be sure to check back frequently and sign up for our newsletter to see our newest product arrivals as our inventory is always changing.
